Interpretation:
This is similar to translation, however, it involves using signs or speaking in a foreign language the translated version of another language, not necessarily foreign. An interpretation may be performed by using consecutive or simultaneous method. While simultaneous interpreters offer translation as the speaker is speaking in the language requiring translation, consecutive involves translating after the speech is over. Foreign language education process is very dynamic and one can get certifications such as TEFL or TESOL.

Proofreader:
People who have an associate’s degree in foreign language along with a graduation degree can get good jobs as proof readers. The job profile involves correcting and editing manuscripts, letters, brochures, novels and other documents. The formula for success here involves not only being fluent but also possessing more than average skills in grammar.

Training and teaching:
One can also start teaching the language to others interested in learning it. Teachers of languages can get work in schools as well as colleges. One can either do a post graduation in the language of choice or become a teaching assistant and then later get professional certifications and begin teaching.
